The first set in the country, Zhanjiang ignition! CO2 emissions cut by more than 500000 tons per year
On December 23, the first million-ton hydrogen-based shaft furnace project in China was successfully ignited and put into production in Baosteel's Zhanjiang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. This is the largest integrated production line in China that uses multiple gas sources and finally uses all hydrogen for industrial production of direct reduced iron. It marks that China's iron and steel industry has once again taken an exemplary and symbolic step towards green and low-carbon transformation and will further lead the transformation of traditional iron and steel metallurgy process.
